NBA Europa : : Visual Research
To create a full identity for each franchise in NBA Europa, I needed to understand the visual language of each city as well as Europe as a whole. I went about researching the visuals related to the league's position in Europe. I found that a large part of the identities needed to tie into a team's country to create a sense of patriotism for fans of each team. Further, the identities had to all maintain a sense of unity with the league as a whole. With these ideas in mind, I began to look for visuals to create initial logo ideas.
